MURAD EXFOLIATING ACNE TREATMENT GEL REVIEW10/27/2012
If you read my April's post (read here), I bought Murad Acne Complex Starter Kit at Sephora back then. After using the whole products, this exfoliating acne treatment gel is my favorite!
I bought the full-size in here (Indonesia) and Murad products are really expensive... T_T
The exfoliating acne treatment gel itself costs IDR 600.000 up (not until 700.000) for 100mL. I know 100mL is quite a lot, but I still shocked when I paid it.lol.
(you know, bought 2 product already cost IDR a million, I'm thinking I can buy at least 5 items at Forever21 :p ). At Sephora it costs US$54

This bottle came with a pump. The pump can be locked (and unlocked for sure).
This product contains 1% salicylic acid!
One thing that I like about Murad's products are they don't use benzoyl peroxide. Yup, I know that benzoyl peroxide (am I wrote it right?) effectively reduce acne but some says that after you throw away that benzoyl peroxide thingy, your face will have acne again and sometimes it can gets worsen than before, I don't want that happens to me (
already sick fighting with acne). okay, BACK TO TOPIC!
I use this gel as direction, I applied with cotton, I don't want to rub it with my hand because I think using cotton is more sterile than my hand.
I didn't follow with skin perfecting lotion anymore, it's run out anyway.
So, after cleansing my face (with Murad cleanser or Neutrogena rapid clear cleanser), I applied this gel.
After applied it, I feel the tingling itchy sensation on the area that has acne (if you ever tried dermatologist office peeling, it's feel the same but much better) and the next day, you will feel brighter and maybe some of dark spots disappear.
I don't use this gel everyday, I use it interchangeably with acne medication then after that I use this gel to help the dark spot faded.
It's pretty watery though!
The scents itself really "medicine" or "acid" I can smells sour everytime I applied this product to my face.
Re-purchased? err, I want to, but still, I can't bear with the price!
